No pressure and no obligation!

Your Class B CDL training starts with a mix of classroom instruction, hands-on lab work, and real-world observation — a full 40 hours designed to prepare you for the Washington State CDL exam.
During this first week of CDL training, you’ll learn:
• Highway driving fundamentals and safety procedures
• Hazard awareness and defensive driving techniques
• Speed and space management for commercial vehicles
• Basic vehicle control and CDL safety standards
You’ll also begin hands-on commercial driving practice, including:
• City driving in real traffic conditions
• Backing maneuvers and vehicle positioning
By the end of week one, you’ll have a strong foundation in Class B CDL skills, increased confidence behind the wheel, and be fully prepared for the next stage of training.
This is where your CDL training comes together.
In week two, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned and prepare to pass the Washington State CDL exam.
During your final week, you’ll focus on:
• Precision backing maneuvers (straight back and offset backing)
• City route driving in real-world conditions
• Full pre-trip vehicle inspections required for the CDL test
• Safe operation and control of Class B commercial vehicles
You’ll spend five days in hands-on training, building confidence and sharpening your skills with guidance from experienced CDL instructors.
By the end of week two, you’ll have the knowledge, practical experience, and confidence needed to pass your CDL test at the DOL and begin your career as a Class B CDL driver.
